Patient positioning can be altered after the X-ray is taken and displayed. 3D Imaging - There are two different fields of view: 6cm x 4cm and 9cm x 4cm. These fields of view are the highest resolution available, utilizing a 0.068mm voxel. Panoura can be installed with 3D on-board or it can be upgraded in-office at a later time. Long Life CMOS Sensor - The most expensive part of a digital panoramic system is the CMOS sensor. The Panoura has a built-in cooling system in the sensor housing in order to provide the longest lifespan for the onboard CMOS sensor. Examination Types - Panoramic - 3D Imaging - TMJ - Sinus - Cephalometric. There are multiple examinations possible with the Panoura. The Ceph arm can be configured with an interchangeable panoramic sensor or its own dedicated sensor. Speed - From as little as 6 seconds to as much as 16 seconds, the Panoura's panoramic acquisition is selected based on image resolution and patient size. The images display in real time on the computer. Three-In-One Versatility - Panouras have several possible functions. It is a panoramic X-ray that can also take 3D and Cephalometric images. This allows doctors to have up to 3 different types of imaging units in one machine. These different versions make the Panoura suitable for any type of dental office and specialty.
