The new TwinPower Turbine High Speed Handpiece by Morita leads the industry with technical innovation. It features the world's only "twin turbines" and it haesses super-high torque in an efficient handpiece design. This double-impeller technology produces a mass of power, unsurpassed clinical stability, and constant speed even under high load conditions.

Air, which is delivered from three drive air nozzles, powers the primary impeller. The exhaust air is directed through multiple fixed fins to power the second impeller. The operational result is far greater control and precision.

TwinPower provides a perfect balance of efficiency and operator comfort. Its compact head offers enhanced maneuverability and superior access. It also features a newly designed grip which enables a relaxed hold of the handpiece. A ceramic surface treatment offers up to 30% greater friction forces, improving grip and durability throughout multiple sterilization cycles.

For superior infection control, TwinPower is equipped with a unique zero suck back function (Anti Suck Back Diffuser) that prevents the intake of contaminated aerosol and other particles into the air line - a first for the dental industry. This feature helps eliminate cross contamination of the handpiece, coupling, air line, and treatment unit.

Other distinctive features include TwinPower’s rapid braking capability and radial air bypass. Rapid braking poses a particular challenge for ball bearing, high speed handpieces. A unique rubber brake ring in TwinPower’s quick stop system enables the handpiece to be stopped within 2 seconds - allowing for safer and more efficient preparations. Its radial air bypass displaces air sideways to minimize patients’ discomfort. Usually this discomfort occurs from a vertical cold air stream on the preparation area, typical of many other high speed handpieces.
